Checklist on Camera and Power Supply verify the following:
- Check Power Adapter produce sufficient voltage and ampere to power up Camera.
- Camera angle and view is adjusted to customer’s requirements.
- Camera / housing viewing window is clean, inside and out.
- Camera lens is dust free.
- Interior of camera enclosure is clean and dry.
Checklist on WIRING and CABLES verify the following:
- Check wiring and cable harnesses for wear and fray.
- Check to make sure cable is dressed properly.
- Check connectors and cable entry points for loose wiring.
- Check Cat5 Cat6 LAN cable and Baluns, coaxial cable is transmitting an adequate video signal to control room. Signal should be free of distortion.
- Make sure all coaxial connectors are insulated from conduit and junction boxes.
Checklist on DVR NVR and Hard disk verify the following:
- Check Power Adapter produce sufficient voltage and ampere to power up DVR NVR PCB and hard disk.
- Check all videos display smoothly.
- Check hard disk could playback and backup sample videos.
- Check bad sector and corrupted files – reducing storage space and capacity.
- Clean up and ensure space for ventilation and release heat to prolong lifespan.
